Hindi Group Rhyme Competition

Grandparents hold the hearts of children forever

and their presence is a blessing to their little 

world. To express gratitude towards their 

unconditional love and warmth, the Nursery 

cherubs of Pre-Primary conducted Hindi Group 

Rhyme Competition on Wednesday, 11th 

September 2019.

A special assembly was held to commemorate ‘

Hindi Divas’ which is celebrated across the nation 

on 14th September every year. Children were 

briefed about the significance of the day and the 

rich heritage of Hindi language. 

The theme of the competition was based on 

“Grandparents”. Children presented group rhymes 

in their mother tongue, Hindi and sang beautifully 

to show love and respect towards their 

grandparents. All the Nursery children participated 

with full zeal and enthusiasm.

Later, Headmistress Ma’am announced the results 

of the competition and appreciated all the Nursery 

children for their efforts and wonderful 

performances.

The assembly was concluded with a group dance 

by all the children followed by National Anthem 

at the end.
