Assembly by Prep E

We, the children of Class Prep E conducted the assembly on 'Baisakhi' and contributed in achieving the SDG Goal 4- Quality Education. Morning prayer was followed by the Gayatri Mantra and its meaning. Our friend Kavish Chaudhri spoke Kabir Das Ji's doha "Guru Gobind Dou Khade....."

Our Class teacher Ms. Vinita Dadlani explained the meaning of the doha. 

Bhavika Dhoundiyal spoke the importance of Baisakhi and our Ma'am, Ms. Anupma Uppal asked some questions related to the festival.

Our entire class also recited "Ik Onkar...." which was later explained by our friend Deevit Luthra. This was followed by an electrifying dance performance by some of the stdents of class Prep E on the song 'Rang de basanti'. 

New Nursery Day 1

Ahlcon Welcomes New Nursery

It was celebration time in Ahlcon international school as the new nursery students joined the school for the first time on 4th April 2019. 

This day marks the beginning of the most important phase of a child’s life. The parents and the guardians were filled with mixed emotions as they saw their tiny tots achieving another milestone in life.

There was a lot of excitement all around the school as children walked in with their parents dressed up in their new and tidy uniforms. They were crying because of the separation anxiety but were handled well by the teachers. Children received a warm welcome from the school and the management.

Parents were worried to let off their children but were happy and assured to see a pleasant and cordial atmosphere of the school. There were lot of activities that were planned for the new joiners. 

Headmistress ma’am and A.H.M. ma’am visited each classroom and interacted with the children. Overall it was pleasure welcoming young learners on their first day of school.

First Assembly for Pre-Primary (2019-20)

The new academic session for Prep class students began on a happy and exciting note. On 3rd April’ 2019, the little Ahlconites were welcomed by their teachers with a wonderful welcome assembly. 

Children were pleasantly surprised to see their teachers perform to welcome them in the new session. 

The assembly started with a prayer, "Tu hi daata" followed by gayatri mantra. Teachers sang a beautiful hindi poem, "Chanda Chanda Maama, Aaj mere ghar aana…..”

Teachers presented small skit on saving valuable resources like water, food and electricity. Children were also shown how they can keep the surroundings clean by not littering around. 

Children could well relate to the skit. They learnt about related SDGs and happily promised to be the saviours of the earth.

Later, they danced to the tunes of itni si hasi…. 

A.H.M ma'am graced the occasion with her presence and greeted children on the new onset.
