Clay moulding is a fun way to develop a child's fine motor skills, imagination and spark a sense of creativity in them. Ahlcon International School gave Prepstudents, a platform to stimulate their imagination and enhance their creativity through ‘Clay Moulding Competition’ conducted on Tuesday, 17th December2019All students participated enthusiastically and created beautiful compositions based on SDG goals like Life on Land, Life below Water, Climate Action and focused upon important measures to deal with these global issues.  
It was an artistic extempore and a complete delight to watch our budding cherubs try their hands-on clay moulding. They surprised everyone with their creativity and imagination. Headmistress Maam, Ms. Anju Gupta  and Section Coordinator, Ms. Pooja Shandilya visited each classroom to boost the confidence of children and cherished the beautiful creations made by them.

Teaching in Digital Era- workshop

Report on ‘Teaching in Digital Era’ 
An In-house workshop on ‘Teaching in Digital Erawas conducted by Pre-Primary teachers Ms. Ritu Patheja, Ms. Shikha Kwatra, Ms. Tina Chopra, Ms. Sonam Narula and Ms. Nidhi Tiwari on Friday, 6th December'19 in the school premises. The resource persons emphasized that Digital learning is any instructional practice that effectively uses technology to strengthen a student’s learning experience. It emphasizes high-quality instruction and provides access to challenging content, feedback through formative assessment, opportunities for learning anytime and anywhere.
The team conducted various activities that focused on the use of technology in the classroom. They further explained on how to create a personalized blog wherein teachers can post their self-composed articles, poems etc. They sensitized the fellow teachers about the advantages of using technology in various forms. Online educational apps and portals were also shared by the team in order to make sure that the process of learning and teaching is not only focused in the classroom, but also by using digital media and online portals like Khan Academy, Byjus etc. However, the team emphasized that the students must be supervisedby the educatorsin order to ensure that they choose positive aspects of technological advancements.
The participants were encouraged to share their experiences on how they have incorporated and updated themselves as far as working with the technology is concerned. 
Principal Sir, Mr. Sanjay Yadav gave his valuable inputs and encouraged the teachers to change and update themselves with the changing time. Section coordinator, Ms. Pooja Shandilya appreciated the team’s efforts and highlighted that flexibility and adaptability are the two important aspects that educators must focus on while dealing with 21s century learners. 
Participants were happy and gave their worthy feedback on a positive note.

Christmas Celebration

Christmas Celebrations 

Enthusiasm and happiness surrounded Ahlcon International School as Pre-Primary wing of the school participated in the exuberant celebration of Christmas Day on 24th December 2019. The triangular area of the Pre-Primary section adornedwith attractive installation depicting the birth of Jesus Christbells, streamers and a beautifully decorated Christmas tree. Children along with their teachers sang melodious carols and everyone danced joyfully to the tunes of these hymns. Drenched in the spirit of Christmas, children happily cheered their beloved Santa Claus, who instantly brought cheeriness and jubilation to the whole celebration. The entire school campus got filled with zeal and vigour as the spirit of festivity was visible on the faces of all present there. The cake cutting ceremony doubled the joy of celebration.
Christmas is also a festival of sharing and caring. To inculcate and strengthen the same, children exchanged exquisitely packedChristmas gifts with their friends and expressed their gratitude towards their teachers. Director Sir, Mr. Ashok K. Pandey, Principal Sir, Mr. Sanjay Yadav, Headmistress maámMs. Anju Gupta and Section Coordinator, Ms. Pooja Shandilya participated in the festive vibes of Christmas and happily enjoyed every bit of the celebration
