Prep E class teachers Ms. Vinita Dadlani and Ms. Anupma Uppal conducted a Special Assembly on 'Gandhi Jayanti' on Tuesday, 24th September'19 and contributed in achieving SDG 4-Quality Education and SDG 16-Peace and Justice. Assembly started with Gayatri Mantra which was followed by the Thought for the Day “सच ही ईश्वर है” with its meaning said by Samyrraa. Kavish enacted as Gandhi ji and Rishit enacted a Shastri ji and spoke few lines about them. The entire class of Prep E sang “रघुपति राघव राजा राम” with full patriotism and enthusiasm. 

Teachers of Prep E then spoke about Gandhiji’s life, his belief in truth & honesty, his three monkeys and later showed a video of his freedom struggle. Few students of Prep E gave an electrifying dance performance on the song “बंदे में था दम, वन्दे मातरम”. 

Our Principal Sir, Mr. Sanjay Yadav spoke about the honest lives of Gandhi ji and Shastri ji to the children and our Headmistress Ms. Anju Gupta showed the 4th monkey who was holding a mobile in his hand to all the children and then explained the disadvantages of using mobile phones. All the children enjoyed and promised not to use mobile phones and not to tell lies to anyone. The efforts of teachers and students were appreciated by the heads and the assembly was concluded by National Anthem sung by everyone.
