Celebration Report
Teachers play an important role in the
development, progress, shaping, and enlightenment of students. A relation
between a teacher and a student is said to be the most precious one in the
world as they guide their students to become better human beings, responsible
members of the society and ideal citizens of the nation. Teacher’s Day is a
special day which is celebrated every year on September 5th to mark the birthday of the country’s
former President, Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, who was a great scholar, philosopher and
educationist at heart and to honour teachers for their significant
contributions in shaping the life of students.
Students of Ahlcon
International School celebrated this day with full passion and exuberance. A special assembly was conducted on Friday,
September 4th by the students of Pre-Primary to honour
teachers for their
special contributions in each student’s life through virtual Teams platform. The special assembly
commenced with ‘Guru Vandana “गुरुर्ब्रह्मा ग्रुरुर्विष्णुः गुरुर्देवो महेश्वरः । गुरुः साक्षात् परं ब्रह्म तस्मै श्री गुरवे नमः“ followed by video having a compilation of astounding
performances of our tiny tots, also showcasing a peep into the gurukul education
system of ancient India.
Children shared the essence of the
occasion through their beautiful live performances. Utakarsh Yadav
of Nursery C recited a beautiful poem whereas Dhanvi Aggarwal presented a thrilling
dance performance. Teachers were touched by the heartfelt gesture of the
students in making them feel special on this day.
Respected Principal Sir, Mr.
Sanjay Yadav, Headmistress Ma’am, Ms. Anju Gupta and Section
Coordinator Ma’am, Ms. Pooja Shandilya witnessed the programme and
lauded the praiseworthy efforts of the students leaving them in high spirits.
