Prep Virtual Hindi Solo Story Narration Competition

“There are many little ways to enlarge your world.  Love for stories is the best of all.” 

To spark a passion for reading from young ageand to foster creative imagination among the students, Ahlcon International Schoolorganized a ‘Virtual Hindi Solo Story Narration Competition’ for Prep Students on Wednesday,19th August 2020 at Teams platform. At Ahlcon, developing a love forstories has been the cornerstone of thecurriculum.

Story narration is the perfect way to broaden the vocabulary of students, encouraging them to bemore innovative and inventive in their thoughts and actions. It also provides children with a window that opens a whole new world to them,giving them the opportunity to learn new ideas,information, and cultures existing around theglobe.

Prep students with their tremendous effortsparticipated wholeheartedly to make this competition a successful event. The stories narrated by them were based on values like honesty, empathy, acceptance, responsibility, respect, and tolerance. Each story concluded with a message highlighting the importantprinciples of life. Children’s creative costumes and props, clarity of speech, level of confidence and actions and expressions gave judges a tough time in deciding the winners.

The clarity and precision with which each student narrated the story was praiseworthy. The E-Certificate Distribution Ceremony took place on Friday, 21st August 2020 where respected Principal Sir, Headmistress ma’am, and Section Coordinator ma’am appreciated and applauded the efforts put in by students and their parents in preparing them. It was a spectacular competition where even the shy children participated and gave wonderful performances.
