Assembly by Prep D

The tiny tots of Prep-D presented their assembly on Wednesday, 18th December’19 where they talked about saving environment by saving trees. The theme was envisioned keeping in mind the Sustainable Development Goals that is SDG 13 (Climate Action) & 15 (Life on Land).

The assembly began with the school prayer followed by valuable thought by Ayaan Takiar, ‘पेड़ लगाओ, देश बचाओ, जीवन को खुशहाल बनाओ। पेड़ वर्षा लाते  हैं, हमें गर्मी से बचाते  हैं।’

Children also mesmerized the audience with an effective and powerful skit on ‘Save Earth, Save Trees’. The class teachersMs. Bhavya Kamra and Ms. Divya Narula explained and emphasized on the importance of plants in our lives. This was then followed by a dance ‘ना काटो मुझे, दुखता है….’ to make children aware about the pain which plants go through when they are being cut. A video was also shown which showcased the effort and determination of children in their special initiative of planting seeds at their homes. It was a great learning experience for students in presenting their assembly.

Headmistress Ma’am, Ms. Anju Gupta appreciated the children and team teachers with her motivational words.Section Coordinator, Ms. Pooja Shandilya applauded the hard work and encouraged children to plant more and more trees.

At the end, children who participated in Inter School Competition at Apeejay School (Noida) were also felicitated with merit certificates.
