Children’s Day Assembly

The students of Nursery B showcased their talent in the special assembly for Children's Day held on Wednesday,13th November 2019. The Assembly began with Gayatri Mantra followed by the thought for the day spoken by Ananya Arora and Sahiba. Children mesmerized everyone with their Qawwali performance, “हम नन्हे मुन्ने बच्चेहैं, हम बढ़ो की बातें क्या जाने...” and it was highly appreciated by the audience. Children were given introduction of Chacha Nehru by a teacher, Ms. Pooja Talwar who dressed up as Pandit Nehru in order to enlighten children about things that were close to his heart; a red rose, a Nehru jacket and a Nehru cap.   

Significance of the day and the simplicity by which Pandit Jawahar Nehru lived his life was explained to the children.Later, questions related to him were asked in the form of a quiz. Teachers performed on a skit, medley of songs, a comical parody by two jokers (Ms. Anupma Uppal and Ms. Divya Narula) and a foot tapping dance was done to entertain children on their special day. All these performances enthralled the audience and added much joy and exuberance to the assembly. 

Principal Sir, Headmistress Ma'am and Section Coordinator blessed all the children. Principal Sir spoke about the teachings of Pandit Nehru and inspired children to be the leaders of tomorrow as they have the power to change the world. The Assembly was concluded with the National Anthem.
