Prep A Assembly, Fancy Dress Competition

Inter Class Fancy Dress Competition
Students of Prep section participated in Inter Class Fancy Dress Competition held on Wednesday, 5th February 2020The theme of the competition was based on Sustainable Development Goals. The competition began by chanting Gayatri Mantra. The beautiful thoughtNever say die, keep trying. A day will come when you will succeed in one thing or the other” was well articulated by Sanav Malhotra and Satvik Sharma of Prep A. 
It was a pure delight to see our tiny change-agents dressed up in their vibrant costumes showcasing their talent by talking on global issues like saving water, saving environment by reducing and recycling waste, saying no to plastic etc. It wasoverwhelming to see them express confidently. This competition helped them overcome their stage fear, brought out their inner talentbuild their self-confidence and inner strengths. All the participants enthralled the audiences with their endearing acts.
Later, children danced to the tunes of ‘Lakdi ki kathi….
The competition brought an amiable ambience and the Headmistress, Ms. Anju Gupta applauded the children and appreciated the efforts of the parents.  She later awarded the winners with merit certificates. The assembly came to an end with the humming of National Anthem.

Assembly by Prep C  

Festivals give a glorious reason to celebrate the rich heritage, culture and tradition of a country. The essence of festivals was portrayed beautifully by the students of Prep C on Wednesday, 15thJanuary’ 2020 through a Special Assembly basedon the theme, Festivals of India.
The assembly began with the Prayer followed by Gayatri Mantra. Adya Garg and Kshirja Vashist,enlightened everyone with their thought for the day. Children sang a group action song in Hindiand mesmerized the audience with their outstanding Surya Namaskaar wherein they displayed twelve different aasanas with perfection. They enthralled the audience with three dance forms from the states of India – Pongal from Tamil Nadu, Bihu from Assam, and a dance celebrating the famous kite flying festival ofMakar Sankranti from Gujarat. The students highlighted that India is a country of diversity and integrity and we all should respect each other’s religion to live together as one nation.
A video on the International Kite Flying Festival of Gujarat was a treat to the eyes of children. Amovie having glimpses of special initiative by the children of Prep C was shown where they pledged and wrote their resolutions for the year 2020 on the kitesLater, they flew these kites in high spirit. 
Headmistress Ma’am, Ms Anju Gupta and Section Coordinator, Ms. Pooja Shandilya applauded the efforts of children and team teachers. The assembly was culminated with the singing of National Anthem.
