Activity by Nursery E

An engaging activity was conducted for Nursery E students to enhance the awareness and promote the concept of reduce reuse recycle. The activity provided children with an opportunity to understand that it is our collective responsibility to protect the environment by Reducing reusing and recycling the waste material. Students participated in full enthusiasm. The objective of the activity was well achieved as students were able to understand the concept and think about the preventive measures to preserve the resources for future use.

Students of Nursery E presented their first morning assembly with 

full enthusiasm and zeal. Theme of the assembly was; 

"Reduce, Reuse and Recycle". 

The assembly began by reciting Gayatri Mantra followed by the 

group song; “Reduce, Reuse and Recycle”. Rhythm Goel spoke 

thought for the day; “Recycle today for a better tomorrow”.

She explained that how the consumption of plastic bags harms the

 environment. And laid emphasis on carrying a cloth or paper bag

 especially when going out for shopping. Arihant Golccha and 

Azrah Saifi also shared their thoughts about ways of saving water,

electricity, paper and waste management. 

The teachers sensitized the children on how cutting trees should

 also be stopped as they help us in so many ways. Students were 

encouraged to plant more trees to save the environment.

A dance performance was then presented by a group of children 

from Nursery- E on the song, Na kato mujhe bada dhukta hai. 

Later, all the nursery children danced to the tune of itni si hasi itni 

si Khushi....

Children having birthdays in this week were greeted with birthday 

cards by Principal sir and Headmistress Ma'am.

The assembly was applauded by all. Principal Sir and Headmistress 

Ma'am also appreciated the efforts done by children.

Fun with shapes- Nursery A

On 26th July 2019, Nursery A conducted an activity to recapitulate shapes done in class.
During the activity children enhanced their gross motor skills by balancing between the passage made with blocks, after this they focused on their listening skills by focusing on music and stopped soon after the music stopped. After this they focused on conceptual development by picking the shape which was assigned and at last children enhanced their conversational skills by speaking few lines on the objects related to shapes.

Preprimary age is the best time of Constant Learning and Accelerated Development. Learning through games is an appealing way as it boosts the learning interest of the students.It helps children to think strategically, solve problems creatively and develop social skills, such as following rules, playing with others.Keeping this in mind Prep class children played Snakes and ladders in math's lab period on large flex specially prepared for our ahlconites. it taught adding value ,teamwork, number recognition and it was fun to play the game. It engaged all types of learners they learned numerical skills with ease.
