SPANDAN (2018-19)

‘I am the Change’, a thought envisioned by Ahlcon that trickles down in the form of strong values to the students.

On the 12th of March 2019, the Preprimary department of Ahlcon International School, Mayur Vihar Phase-1 put up a spectacular show for its Prep Annual Function, Spandan. The Chief Guest Ms. Monica Patel, CEO – First in Math India Pvt. Ltd. along with the Chairperson, Dr. Rohini Ahluwalia, the Principal, Mr. Ashok K Pandey, HM, Ms. Anju Gupta and other dignitaries graced the occasion.

The opening performance was ‘Taal Tarang’ – a composition in Raag Khamaaj with a Tarana, which left the audience in awe of how our children played various instruments like Tabla, Bongo, Casio in coordination with the vocal renditions with such finesse.

The next item was a dance – ‘Ik Jindari’ where the students performed with precision and elegance and shone bright like a sun, captivating everyone in the audience.

It was followed by a play – ‘I am the Change, SDG Flight 2019’ in which the children showed the various nuances of their theatrical skills. The play was an appeal to the people to step up and do their best to follow the SDGs to make the world a better place.

The final one was ‘Happy Feet’ a joyful dance, with a message of living life to the fullest. The audience was engrossed while clapping and singing along with the performance.

The Chief Guest, Ms. Monica Patel spoke about a powerful real life story with an important underlying message of never giving up on your child, no matter what.

The program concluded with a vote of thanks from the AHM.

NURSERY ANNUAL DAY ‘JHAROKA’

Ahlcon celebrated Annual Show ‘JHAROKHA’ of Class Nursery on 6th of March, 2019 in the school auditorium. The auditorium was decorated elegantly with colored balloons. Dr. Umesh Prabhu,

Senior Lecturer, Edgehill University, U.K. graced the occasion as the chief guest and Dr. Arun K. Tripathi, Director General, National Institute of Solar Energy, Gurugram as Guest of Honour Principal Mr. Ashok K. Pandey, Head Mistress Ms. Anju Gupta, AHM

Ms. Sunita Rajiv and other dignitaries were also present to witness the show put up by little wonders. All the dignitaries invoked the Almighty with Diya lighting. HM Ms. Anju Gupta welcomed the gathering with an inspiring speech.

The first performance was a song “Aao milker hath badaye” which was an appeal for love and harmony. 

The Children showed their flair for drama and dialogue delivery with the plays based on moral stories from ‘Panchatantra. The

play also had musical elements to bring symphony and melody into life.

The show concluded with the grand finale where the teachers and children came on stage for a final bow. After the finale, Dr. Umesh Prabhu addressed the gathering in his speech he appreciated the choices of theme, rendition of music and dance and its immerse

impact on the mind of the youth. The vote of thanks was presented by AHM Mr. Sunita Rajiv. The Annual Show received whole hearted appreciation from the parents who flooded the Whatsapp group with their generous praise for the efforts of teachers and students.
