Dental Checkup

Our School, Ahlcon International is blessed to have very caring parents who lend their unflinching support in every possible manner. Dr. Vaibhav Aggarwal and Dr. Sakshi Aggarwal, P/O Atharva Aggarwal volunteered to hold this year's Dental Checkup in our school on 27th August, 2018. A team of 7 doctors who were well-equipped came to examine us. They spoke to us about the importance of oral and dental care and right eating habits. On completion of the checkup, each one of us were given a card with a summary of diagnosed problem. They also distributed medicated toothpaste to us as a small gift. We are grateful to Dr. Vaibhan and Dr. Sakshi to make us understand how important oral health and hygiene is.

Independence Day

Today we the children of pre primary, celebrated Independence Day assembly on 14 th August in the school’s auditorium. We started the assembly by taking blessings from the Almighty. Later, some of

our friends from prep classes sung a melodious patriotic song which was prepared by our music teacher Mr. Mallik. Later one of our teachers, Ms .Shikha Kwatra explained to us some of the interesting facts about country India like How many states and union territories does India have? She

also explained about importance of the three colours in our flag. She showed us photos of our freedom fighters like Shaheed Bhagat Singh, Lala Lajpat Rai and their contribution in the freedom

movement against Britishers. She also told us about present President , Prime Minister and Defence

Minister of India. Then we all danced on the song “ suno gaur se dunia walon” with our teachers. It was a great learning experience for us.

Assembly by Nursery E

Assembly by Nursery E

We the tiny tots of Nursery-E were very excited to present our first assembly on 8th of August. In our assembly we talked about taking care of animals and plants and focused on the SDG 15 (Life on Land).  We begin our assembly with the school prayer. Then our friend Arianna spoke the thought for the day 'Do not tease animals, animals are our friends. We should take care of them.'  After that we all kids narrated the story 'The Greedy Dog' very confidently. Our class teachers Ms. Vinita ma'am and Ms. Pooja Ma'am emphasised on the importance of all living beings on Earth. This was then followed by the Inter Class Hindi Solo Rhyme Competition in which few selected children from all nursery classes recited very meaningful and beautiful value based rhymes. At the end, our respected HM ma'am Ms. Anju Gupta and AHM ma'am Ms. Sunita Rajiv declared the result and appreciated all the participants for their performance. Their motivating words always encourage us to do better and better everytime.

Assembly by Nursery D

We the children of class Nursery D conducted our first assembly. The theme of our assembly was ‘Kargil Diwas’ and we learnt about SDG of Quality Education and Peace ,Justice and Harmony. First we started the assembly by receiving blessings from almighty. Later, our friend Shorya spoke thought of the day “

अनेकता में एकता , ही हमारी शान है , इसलिए तो मेरा भारत महान है “. Then we sang the Kargil song which was composed by our music teacher Mallik Sir and prepared by our teachers Bhavya Ma’am and Shikha Ma’am. The song was applauded by all. Then our teachers narrated a true story of Subedar Yogendra Yadav who fought in the Kargil War and got ‘Paramvir Chakra’ for his achievement. We felt very proud for him and this story inspired us a lot. Later, GK Questions were asked from us and we all answered them very confidently. One of the prep class teachers told us about her and AHM’s visit to an orphanage and encouraged us to donate books, clothes and shoes to help them. Our HM ma’am appreciated our assembly and helped us to learn some new words in Hindi and gave us the homework to know the meaning of our names. We were excited and happy to perform in front of all Nursery Classes.
