Christmas Celebrations

Christmas Celebrations

The much awaited festival ‘Christmas’ was celebrated by

our  Preprimary students in the triangular area. The children

sang in a very festive mood ‘Jingle Bells’ and danced to the

numbers like ‘We wish you a Merry Christmas’ etc. The

whole school echoed with the holy hymns recited by the

students. The corridors were brightly decorated

with colourful  bells, stars and streamers.

Road Safety

Road Safety

We observed Road safety Day on the 5th of December and the children learned how to be safe on the roads. They were taught about the traffic rules and the importance of traffic lights. The teachers took them to the basketball court and made them sit on the carpet. A road was created with the help of a zebra crossing and there were some vehicles (Children were asked to bring their bicycles) parked on the road. The traffic police officers Kriday from Prep-A and Gracy from Prep C mounted the table to man the traffic. They showed the amber light and the drivers became ready, they started on green light but stopped where he showed red light. The pedestrians then crossed from the zebra crossing. We were also delighted to have amongst us a team of real traffic police officers walking into the basket ball court who went to all the classes to meet the children and them them about the importance of following the traffic rules.
