We, the students of Prep showcased our dancing skills in a Solo Dance Competition organized on 12th of February,2015. We enjoyed dancing on folk music. Our parents worked really hard and taught us all the steps. All our friends looked lovely wearing colorful & traditional dresses. We performed confidently on the stage.

HM and AHM Ma'am were very happy to see us all dressed up and they enjoyed our performances.

Our Teachers Shikha Ma'am and Divya Ma'am attended a workshop on Educational Puppetry at National Bal Bhavan on 3rd and 4th of Feb 2015. Ms. Carol Sterling was the resource person who trained them on techniques of using puppets as an aid for teaching different concepts like moral values, building new vocabulary, action words, opposites, nutrition etc. She also guided them to make puppets using waste material like plastic glass, discarded gloves, socks, plates, bottle caps, cleaning brushes etc.

WHEN PUPPETS TALKED TO US IN THE ASSEMBLY

We had a very unusual assembly today. After the prayers and rhymes we were narrated an enchanting story by puppets who were so amusing that we rolled with laughter. The lion suffered from severe cold and sneezed every now and then while the tiger had cough. Winter is playing havoc with animals too. The story taught us that we should help each other then only we can expect favours from others. The teachers enjoyed the session too.

Divya ma'am and Shikha ma'am had done this hilarious show for us . We would like to have more such shows in future too.

We, the children of PrePrimary got an opportunity to witness a live theatre on 3rd February. It was organised by Bal Bhawan and was called Tifli which means childhood. 

The name of the play which   we went to see was H2O. 

Three German gentleman played with water and created different sounds with it. It was marvelous to see how water can create so many different sounds. And when these sounds are clubbed together, a lovely music/rhythm comes out.

After watching the play, we came out and played in the open grounds of Bal Bhawan.

It was lots of fun and a good learning experience. Thanks to our HM and AHM Ma'am who arranged this wonderful trip for us.
