Pleasure with Nature

Pleasure with Nature

Activities in the lap of nature are a great way to help the children experience the joys of the natural world. The Class Teachers of Preprimary-B, Ms. Kakoli and Ms. Priyanka had taken the children on a nature walk on the 29th of April, 2014. They had collected withered leaves and flowers on their way. They were very proud of the treasure they had collected.

On 30th April, teachers of Preprimary-C, Ms. A. Sangita and Ms. Tanu Mathur planned a nature walk with their children in the school premises. Children observed the difference between plants and trees. They observed the different kinds of leaves - big and small. They also collected dried leaves, fallen flowers and small twigs. They then made beautiful bracelets/wristbands with the help of leaves and cello tape and showed it to their friends of other classes. It brought out the creativity in them and they were super excited with the treasure they had collected and the bracelets they created.

YOUNG CHEFS

YOUNG CHEFS

To take learning beyond books and to unleash their creativity, we organized BISCUIT DECORATING ACTIVITY in the classrooms on 12th March'14. The preschoolers bought biscuits and sliced salad, cheese, jam, gems and more assortment of namkeen and bhujia to decorate their biscuits in the class and have a fun time creating their own snacks. They placed the salad slices, arranged cheese balls, sprinkled some bhujia etc to make their creation a unique one. Some of  them were ambitious and created multi-layered  biscuit sandwich using jam, jelly, gems and some fruits. It was a party time galore.
So these are our young chefs at work creating yummiest of snacks themselves.

Kaju enters the Innocent World

Kaju enters the Innocent World

The moment children enter the classrooms these days, the first thing that they ask is "Ma'am, will we play with Kaju today?". So, we now introduce you to 'Kaju'.  We would like to thank the team of Nayidisha for giving us such beautiful games where the children jump, clap, run, and count at the same time.  This is a fun game for young children that requires physical activity from the child. They help Kaju jump through number lines to get back to his spaceship or they help him and his grandmother to shop for fruits and vegetables.  It makes learning more immersive, more enjoyable and more fun.
