WORKSHOP – Reliving Childhood

WORKSHOP – Reliving Childhood

Childhood is the best part of an individual's life and reliving it is the best gift you can give to a grown-up. When it comes to de-stressing, acting as a child is the best way to keep all your problems at bay. The workshop on reliving childhood was conducted on Saturday, the 21 st of July 2018 by Ms. Anupma Uppal and Ms. Pooja Talwar. It was attended by the Principal, Mr. Ashok K Pandey, HM ma’am, Ms. Anju Gupta, AHM, Ms. Sunita Rajiv and all the teachers of the Preprimary department. The workshop not only gave teachers a chance to relive their childhood by playing all those games that they once played as a child like pithoo, Raja mantri chor sipahi, making castle with sand and many more. It also gave them a thought to ponder, if these fun games can be incorporated to the present curriculum. For example, the
dots which we once played as a child can be used to teach children variety of concepts like shapes, numbers, graphs through it. The workshop also witnessed some beneficial activities to keep children engaged in their free time. All in all, it was a fun filled and informative workshop.
