Road Safety
We are observing Safety Week from 15th September to 19th September. We are learning how to be safe in the roads. Our teachers taught us the traffic rules and the importance of traffic lights. When we arrived in the school on 16th morning , our teachers took us to the basketball court and made us sit on the carpet. We were surprised to see Karampreet mam and Pooja mam putting cones to create a road in front of us. Mallik sir and pooja mam had drawn a zebra crossing with chalk and there were some "vehicles" parked on the road. So our lesson began, the traffic police man Arjun Singh Chauhan from Prep-A mounted the table to man the traffic. He showed the amber light and the drivers became ready, they started on green light but stopped where he showed red light. The pedestrians then crossed from the zebra crossing.
We were also delighted to see real traffic police officers walking into the basket ball court. They gave us very good information about following safety norms on the road. We learnt many new things and were thankful to them. They visited our classes too and appreciated our efforts.
