PRESCHOOL ORIENTATION SESSION 2014-2015

Ahlcon International School,MayurVihar Phase-1, organized orientation programme on 28^th June for preschool session 2014-2015 in the school auditorium. The chief guest , Mr. R. Sivaram, a counsellor and a motivational speaker at ‘The Institute of Natural Healing- U K’ was welcomed with a bouquet of flowers. The programme began with the address of Principal, Mr. Pandey and Headmistress Mrs. Anju Gupta by welcoming the parents and emphasizing  the importance of orientation programme. They also      spoke about balanced role of parents and schools in the upbringing of children. The other highlights were a presentation by the teachers about  different domains of child development , school curriculum,different pedagogies used to teach the curriculum and the co-curricular activities and by the chief guest, Mr.R.Sivaram  on good parenting. He  spoke about how children closely follow their parents actions and habits ,also about how parents should spend quality time with their children like- a fun travelling trip could be made educational by discussing everyday activities  done by their child at school,etc.At the end , Mr. R. Sivaram was presented with a memento by our Headmistress, Mrs. Anju Gupta followed by the vote of thanks delivered by our Assistant Headmistress , Mrs. Sunita Rajiv.
The parents went back home carrying an insight about the school’s policies and they took good parenting tips which according to them will surely help them in guiding their wards in the right direction in a constructive way.
